About Me

Finding a path through life and a window on the world ...

I began to study the psychology of Carl Jung when I was a young art student, and used his feelings and ideas in my creative work.  Very early, I felt the connection between creativity and psychology, and gave therapeutic movement workshops at university.  Soon afterwards, I studied and practiced yoga for many years and I owe my teacher a debt of gratitude for the understanding she gave me of the mind/body relationship - and many other things.  In later psychological studies I explored how this affects people with ME/chronic fatigue syndrome and other psycho-physical conditions, and have a specialism in working with individuals with ME.  I worked as an art teacher, lecturer and artist for many years before training as a counsellor, followed by the deeper training as a Jungian analytical psychologist.  I continue to work on developing my professional and personal life and take further training, as an archetypal analyst at a research centre in Switzerland.
