The telling of a myth, legend, fairy tale or saga, which aims to de-structure and loosen, negative patterns which have taken hold of an organisation.
Sometimes, both small and large companies find that staff are stuck in negative patterns and relationships which are inhibiting the furtherance of new business or expansion. The story telling method aims to help individuals, and whole organisations, understand what they are stuck in - and that it is no one individual's 'fault'. Usually all have become emeshed in an unconscious pattern, resulting in scapegoating, absenteeism, or even violent behaviour at times.
Such a situation has a detrimental effect on business-life, as well as the individual's personal life. The group work enables these patterns to be exposed and worked on creatively, without personalising or attributing the destructive pattern to one person or cause. This helps the business be creative, and the individual productive, creating a more harmonious working environment.
