 FIRST TERM: 22 April to 29 July 2012

1.  The importance of dreams to Jung and something about the man and his life. (Dreams will wind all the way through this course).

2.  The eternal figures of the anima and animus.

3.  The shadow: personal and collective.

4.  The relationship between ego and self.

SECOND TERM: 2 September to 16 December 2012

5.  The Psychology of archaic man: relating Jung's work to shamanism and ancient religions.

6.  World religions: looking at them psychologically.

7.  Psychology of fairy tales, myths and popular legends.

8.  Group interpretation of a fairy tale.

THIRD TERM: 6 January to 21 April 2013

9.  Reading group: The Symbolic Life - C G Jung.

10. Study group: Psychological interpretation of pictures - visual, symbolic images.

11. Reading group: The Interpretation of Fairy Tales - Marie-Louise von Franz.

12. Reading group: The Power of Myth - Joseph Campbell.

Two meetings for each subject.  Reading list supplied.  Some moderate preparation work needed for meetings, with study around a creative subject of choice.

The whole year's work needs to be booked.  No separate terms or meetings are available as the course is planned to unfold understanding, and creativity, in each person.
